She finds this unethical and asks him to live honourably but he continues with his ways and sinks deeper and deeper into depravity. He loses his job and asks his wife to get employment. When finally he becomes aware of his selfishness and blindness\, he has already subjugated himself. He tries to get out of it\, supported by his wife in this endeavour\, but he has grown so accustomed to his practices that he remains trapped in them. A man has been granted liberty by our society to do as he wishes\, to take or snatch whatever he likes as if he owns the universe.
