Nat-ranga’s Nolak, at Academy

Premiere of Amit Maitra’s drama written in the background of the mid-1990s, around the myth of an accidental act by a baby playfully pulling his mother’s nosering, leading to a nasal tear and future gossip that shatters the  protagonist’s societal existence. The play speaks of life’s core values and how humanity overpowers non-living matter. Directed and acted by Sohan Bandopadhyay.
