Santoshpur Anuchintan’s Birsa Ka Jungle, at Triguna Sen Auditorium

An attempt to make people aware of our ancestors’ fight to protect the historic Jamkopai forest of Chakradharpur in Jharkhand. The play, developed by dramatist-director Gaurav Das in response to the climate change that threatens our very existence, awakens us to act and protect Mother Nature for future generations. The performers are children and young adults from marginalized communities of a small village in Ghasiara, West Bengal.
