There lived a weaver in a village. People referred to him as Kabir because of his prowess with the needle and tenacity, weaving vines, bushes and plants into carpets, shawls and blankets. One day, the king and his daughter travel to his village and she insists on viewing Kabir’s talent. Impressed with his abilities, they want to reward him, but Kabir declines. The king issues an angry order. Kabir does nothing, aware that one man’s rage is futile. The day the spark of fury ignites in the hearts of all people there will be no king or servant, no castes, no division in society, no temple or mosque, and no human being would have the authority to use the force of a sword to destroy others.
