Ichchhemato's Mantu o Marx, written by Dhrubajyoti Chakrabarti, directed by Kushal Chattopadhyay. An unusual play where Marx appears today and tries to explain his theories to a Bengali labourer.

Prachya's Manikarnikay Manika, adapted into contemporary India from Sartre's Respectful Prostitute by Anshuman Bhowmick and directed by Biplab Bandyopadhyay. Recommended: ★★★★ Read my review.

Theatre Workshop's Agnishajya, Utpal Dutt's play about Ram Mohun Roy's anti-sati activism, directed by Ashok Mukhopadhyay.

Chakdah Natyajan's production of Utpal Dutt's Barricade, about the Nazis' strategies of establishing fascism democratically, directed by Debesh Chattopadhyay. Recommended: ★★★★ Read my review.

Nandikar's Panchajanya, directed by Sohini Sengupta, written by Parthapratim Deb. The play dramatizes the story of Krishna.
