Rangroop’s theatrical journey can broadly be subdivided into two different eras. If the initiation started with the guidance of Sri Goutam Mukhopadhyay, the sailing of the group in last quarter of century was through the directorship of Smt Sima Mukhopadhyay. Undoubtedly the group has become one of the prime groups of Kolkata and has got national repute because of her excellence in this art form.
