PrimeTime Theatre (Mumbai)’s Autobiography, at Birla Sabhagar

Mahesh Elkunchwar’s play translated in English, in which an ageing, much admired, charismatic writer dictates his autobiography to a bright but irreverent researcher and, in the process, talks about a controversial book on his love-life, which he had published earlier, where he spoke about his contemporaries, his troubled 30-year-old relationship with his wife and his brief affair with his sister-in-law. Directed by Lillete Dubey.
